Larry O'Sullivan
Earlier this year one of the stalwarts of Douglas Hall passed on to his eternal reward. Following an illness, Larry O'sullivan passed away. Over many years, he had been a terrific supporter and servant of the club and he gave many of us long hours of enjoyment. Always good for a song, his party-piece was "Four and Nine"

Four and Nine
Chorus & Intro
Four and nine, shove another dollar up
Four and nine, take a tip from me
Never take a lady out to dine
When only in your pocket
You've got Four and Nine

1
Well she took me down to the Windham Hotel
And with her dainty little finger she rang the bell
She kept her right eye fixed on mine
But I kept me hand upon me Four and Nine
Chorus

2
Well she ordered the chicken and a bowl of soup
And with the chicken well she looped the loop
I saw the soup go down the vine
Christ I said God help us with me Four and Nine
Chorus

3
In came the waiter, full of glee
Who's going to pay this bill said he
She kept her right evey fixed on mine
But I kept me hand upon me Four and Nine
Chorus

4
In comes the manager in a hell of a tail
And he landed his boot in I won't say where
Out through the window I went flying
But I landed on the pavement with me Four and Nine
Chorus

Larry O'Sullivan, Bert O'Mahony and CJ Harrington
